I'm slowly running again. Not much, but enough to take the edge off and at least feel a bit like a runner. Last week I ran a total of 5 miles and walked 9. This week I have run 18 miles and will walk 6. My foot is still hurting, but not near the amount of pain I was in before. I remember to stretch it out through out the day and roll it on the
golf ball at night and might even try one of those boots that you sleep in to keep it stretched out. I'm going to try to keep my runs on the treadmill for the next little while to control the surface. Outside of training I went snow shoeing for the first time over the holidays will the little man. It was fabulous. We both loved it and plan to have many more snow shoeing adventures. We are so fortunate to live where we do and have such easy access to great activities. That's my tiny little update. With Boston on the horizon and hotel and flights booked, jackets purchased - I am getting pretty excited. My mom is going for a sub 4:30 this time and I plan to help her get there. She is my inspiration! Cheers!
